Michele Peck, a stats nerd who can do improv comedy in German, has more than 25 years of marketing and public relations experience, including stints with one of the nation’s top 10 arenas (home of the 2019 Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues!), a 40-plus-year-old restaurant chain and a 180-plus-year-old university. Her colorful work history has brought her in contact with Bette Midler, more professional wrestlers than she can count, the Pope* and an incredibly long list of community organizations.
Here at Point A Media, she serves as a liaison between designers and clients to create cohesive and comprehensive campaigns designed to target a variety of audiences. Her responsibilities include research, writing and editing press releases, promotional pitches, board presentations, radio and television commercials, developing user-friendly Web site maps, editing Web content and coordinating production.
Michele is a graduate of Leadership Nacogdoches and was named NASW "Citizen of the Year" in 2017. Before taking over our Midwest Division office, she served as vice-chair of the Stephen F. Austin State University Dean’s Circle and was an active member (and elder) of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Her local volunteer service includes work with 21/7, Nacogdoches H.O.P.E., Nacogdoches Area United Way, and many boards and committees for Nacogdoche ISD and SFA Charter School. Michele has a B.A. in Speech Communication/PR from McKendree College and a Communication, Advertising & Marketing certificate from the University of Ulster. Originally from St. Louis, she now resides in Bloomington, Illinois with her husband and two precious children. Yeah, we're not really sure how she does it all.
*She didn't actually meet the Pope, but she did assist in the development, writing and implementation of a comprehensive marketing plan for the 1999 Papal Visit and Youth Day.
